Happy Halloween, Bah Hum Bug!

I have to work tonight, I am more than a little annoyed by this, more so because of the fact that I really should be sleeping right now but I just can not fall asleep. I need to find a new place to work. Any ideas?

Sometimes when I am zoning out on the internet i find my self google searching Spider-Man, just to see what turns up. on more than one occasion I have been amused to find something of mine, (either something I have written or a picture I have posted or at the very least something I myself own.) in the top ten. As I was doing that today I found this image of Spier-Man in three different uniforms. What better a picture for Halloween I thought to my self.

Random thought of the day:
Could it be that all those trick-or-treaters wearing sheets aren't going as ghosts but as mattresses?

So there is this thing that is really popular that starts next month and I am considering entering it. NaNoWriMo is a wacky Acronym that is short for National Novel writing month. The basic Idea, as far as I have understood it from the people that I have heard talking about it is that during the month of November you are challenged to write a story o no less than 50,000 (yes fifty thousand) words. The basic Idea is to encourage all of those people out there that like me want to be writers at one point but never sit down and actually do anything about it. It breaks down to six pages a day, and when you think about it like that it doesn't seem that scary. All though on this side of it I sort of feel way out of my league.  if nothing else at least I'll have a good start on something I have wanted to do for a very long time.

I'm supposed to be staying up late tonight so that tomorrow night I can work another over night shift... but at the moment I am something like 30 minutes from passing out from sheer exhastion...

Is it just me?

So in my limited experience, it seems like the type of girl pictured to the right is never working when I randomly end up at an establishment like Hooters, don't get me wrong there are almost always attractive girls, with tight and form fitting clothing. I just haven't seen too many that resemble the ones on the calenders and on my Hooters Model application on my home page.
Best Wishes!!!!

House Guest

Last night was awesome, not only did I meet one of my favorite authors I met over 4 hundred other people as well, I am standing ovation guy.... which would make more sense if you were there, but you weren't. There were quite a few youtube weblebrities, and one guy who I have known online for about 6 months who, as I write this, is sleeping on my couch. After the show ended and we avoided the slight parking drama, (of which for me there was a lot.) I actually got to actually have a nice conversation with John Green his brother Hank and two of the five awesome girls, and one very amusing singer whose name I am currently struggling to remember. All in all The night was amazing... And you should all read John Green's novel Paper Towns. The Photo is of John Green

tomorrow, there is always tomorrow

So as i was typing that title i honestly forgot how to spell tomorrow the second time i was typing it. Seriously what the heck is my problem. Is it possibly the 15 straight days of work that I have endured? That my dear readers is very. Bloody. Likely. Tomorrow I am going to downtown Seattle, to meet an Author that I have become very fond of, his name is John Green his books are the ones you see a couple of posts below this one. I promise you, Tomorrow will be amazing....

Random Blonde Joke:
Bus Stop Blondes
Two blondes are waiting at a bus stop.

When a bus pulls up and opens the door, one of the blondes leans inside and asks the bus driver:''Will this bus take me to 5th Avenue?''

The bus driver shakes his head and says,''No, I'm sorry.''

At this the other blonde leans inside, smiles, and twitters: ''Will it take ME?''

Me time

You ever work so much that you wake up one morning and realize all you want is some me time?? yeah happened to me.

Random Joke of the Day:
Jack and Betty are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, when Jack asks his wife, "Betty, have you ever cheated on me?"

Betty replies, "Oh Jack, why would you ask such a question now? You don’t want to ask that question."

"Yes, Betty, I really want to know. Please."

"Well, all right. Yes, three times…"

"Three?!? Well, when were they?" he asked.

"Well, Jack, remember when you were 35 years-old and you really wanted to start a business on your own, and no bank would give you a loan? But, then one day the bank president himself came over to the house and signed the loan papers, no questions asked?"

"Oh, Betty, you did that for me? I guess I can’t be too upset about that. Well, when was number 2?"

"Well, Jack, remember when you had that last heart attack and needed that very risky operation that no surgeon was willing to perform? And, remember how Dr. DeBakey came all the way up here, to perform the surgery himself?"

"Betty, you should do such a thing for me, to save my life. To do such a thing, you must truly love me darling. How can I be upset with that?"

"So, all right then, when was number 3?"

"Well, Jack, remember a few years ago, when you really wanted to be president of the golf club and you were 17 votes short?"

His Name is John Green and He is amazing... the picture is of all his books, I have no idea why my smile seems so creepy,

Within the world

In Albion (the world of Fable) I have two wives two children a dog named Jareth, magical abilities, knowledge of many types of weapons. I own property, Franchises, and everyone knows my name, and I have only been playing for two days, is it so hard to see why I would rather spend all my time with Fable 2...

online purchases

I have had an aversion to buying things online for the longest time, usually because when I want something I want it right now not five years from now. I am currently waiting on three books, and one of my Spider-man Figures to arrive in the mail, I am mostly frustrated because Amazon just shipped my books today even though I ordered them last thursday.... Grrr Grrr

Random Fact...
I currently have Two wives, and a child per wife in Fable II right now, and for some unknown reason there is a man in one village that has fallen in love with me.... aside from that, this might be the greatest game EVER

Fable II the wait is over

2008-10-20  Five years ago the Xbox nation was introduced to the concept of choice dictating Fate. The Game was Fable and albeit with loftier promises than pay outs Peter Molyneux gave us the first glimpse of what would become a standard on next Generation consoles. Choice dictating Fate is an over simplified way of saying that the plot and look of your Character (or Avatar) will more or less be directed by choices you make through out the game, If you chose to terrorize the little girl clutching her doll in the introduction of the original Game you would be chastised but the game would continue. At the conclusion of the original game depending on the path you chose your Hero would either have the essence of a god or the tell tale signs of horns and the hooves to match.

Obviously I was a big fan of the original game as well as the expanded edition that was released a little over a year later titled Fable: The Lost Chapters it was more or less the same game with a few minor changes and an ending that added an hour or so to the game play and story line of the Original. One of the most common complaints of Fable was the small scale of the world, and the lack of many promises made by Molyneux.

Fable II has been in development for a little over three years, the Game was officially announced  originally for a spring 08 release, much to this columnists dismay there have been several release dates promised and ignored in the past 7 months. Tomorrow Oct 21st is the official release date. I will be standing out side my local Gamestop at ten pm tonight to get my hands on a limited edition.

According to the articles I have read to date this adventure in Albion promises to be a larger more detailed world, with the option to choose you Hero’s gender and a canine ally to help guide you along the way. I do not expect this to be the end all to beat all games, I do however expect it to hold my attention longer than some of the other games that have been released this year. Here’s Hoping

3 hours Late,

It's 3:05 Am I just got off of work about 4 hours early, mostly because I was done doing everything that had to be done, and I really didn't want to hang around for another 4 hours. And Oh exciting news I found the red Spider-Man thing I talked about the other day on ebay and it should be on it's way to me sometime tomorrow morning. Which means i'll most likely have it Saturday or Monday!!!! 2 down two to go

I have this, I want these!

Monday I was stocking the toys section of my store and I came across a new Spider-man collector type thing,  (the black one) yesterday I finally caved in and bought it. and today out of boredom I went to the companies website and yeah they have 3 other models, So my new mission is to try and collect all four of this Mighty Muggs Spider-Man series latex Figures (they aren't dolls because I am a boy!) The series basically tells the origin of one of Spider-Man's biggest villains Venom (the one on the top with the tongue)

Random Rude comment I heard today:
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

What Scares Me???

What scares me. I think this question bothers me more than any of the others I have asked. I don't fear death, or villains or gore. Simply stated I am scared to death of being forgotten. Here is my completely rationalized thought process on the matter. From the moment we are born there is only one thing we have to do. We, every single one of us will eventually die. Life is a Race and as fleeting and fast paced as that is, It is a hard truth and it is the one race no one ever wants to finish first. That is truly why I write my blog, when I started it over three years ago I honestly didn't think I would be coming home. I wanted something of me to be remembered, or to be really cheesy something of me to live on.

I did take today off and mostly I napped, wrote an incredibly long email from which my hand is still cramping and have plans to end the night watching the Ghost Whisperer with Jennifer Love Hewitt. It's alright you can be jealous, it's sexy.

Should I stay or should I go now?

That lyric has so much resonance with me... Technically I am scheduled off tomorrow, But It wouldn't hurt to go in and finish the projects I started today.
I hate that job with such a purple passion that I struggle with whether or not i should quit.
I hate the house that i have lived in for more than a year, and the main thing that bothers me? I want a cat... truly that would make me happy. and as it stands the power tripping daughter of the Landlord has decided she doesn't. I am sooo not pleased.

Strangers in the night

Tonight I did something I haven't done in a long while, I hung out with some online friends in a video chat. It was really great to talk with people that I used to have daily conversations with, and that now due to our lives happening as they do, I haven't spoken to in ages.  All in all good form.

After having my computer for a little over ten months I decided to change my home page on my web browser today, one of the first things I will see from now on is an attractive Hooters model like the one shown here.

Random Thought to ponder....

tired,full,is it friday yet???

It has been brought to my attention that I am not the best pen-pal, it isn't really my fault. I mean yes it is my fault that I haven't written but it isn't my fault i don't write every time I think about it. I'm easily distracted you see. (my younger brother refers to this as the shiny disease because when we were younger I would often wander off because something caught my eye.) I am so tired recently I can hardly make myself cook dinner let alone do anything else productive.
Although I did cook dinner tonight, it was good chicken, broccoli and cheese and rice, and I will probably top it off with Ice cream if i can convince my Iceberg loving roommate to turn up the damn heat.... It is so cold in my house right now my nipples could cut diamonds... (apparently glass didn't make the point clear enough.)
Seriously this week has been so long... is it friday yet???? sheesh

My Pants, My pants...

I did another interview today, this one went much better then the first, but I think in the end she isn't likely to take the job, she was an older woman and seemed bored with the whole concept. Is it bad that i have to physically repress the urge to yell "Run get out while you still can, while you still have some dignity left in those rapidly deteriorating bones!" probably best if I don't insult them with my warning, most people tune you out if you insult them, God knows I do.

I might be doing another youtube channel this month.I co-hosted on the vlogtag channel back in august, and the opportunity seems to have arisen once more, if nothing else it is a fun way to waste away the otherwise dreadfully long October.

My little brothers official wedding is coming up and it is being held on the other side of the country, I promised them I would be there but I would be lying if i even pretended that i'm not stressing over the financial aspect of it. What can I do, I gave my word, and that still means something to me.

Random Fact: I am not wearing pants. the picture doesn't always have to have a deeper meaning sometimes it is just to catch your eye.

Audio comments

So a week or so back one of my favorite webcomics did a spot about a virus that would read your youtube comment back to you after you wrote it in order to maybe show you how much of an arse you were coming off as, a few of us laughed and said the obligatory "If only..." today while watching a video I was writing a comment and realized that very idea is now possible, i am not sure how long it will last as I am sure it is hell for bandwidth but it is amusing if nothing else...

Not So Random Webcomic check it out, a lot of the humor is High brow, but you will likely smile anyway...

The Deep V Diver

The title isn't relevant, i was just having a conversation about the weird names Men give their lower extremities and made that up on the spot. Now that you know that , the title is dirtier than you thought. A handful of people just rolled their eyes at their mental image of me. I have such power... LMAO

I did an interview today, i felt so bad for the prospective interviewee (is that a word?) it was her first interview looking for her first job. She said four words in 26 minutes, I did not  recommend her for the job. I have worked for this soulless company for less than two months and already i am in charge of hiring people...The power is tainting my good will.

when i was 7 years old.

When I was 7 years old my official bed time was 7 pm, I hated it, i thought it was ridiculous. I mean i lived in california, at 7 pm there was still two good hours of day light left outside. Two hours that I could have enjoyed doing what ever it is that second grade boys do... actually now that i think about it. It was probably in everyones best interest to keep close tabs on me at that age, I remember being very inquisitive. . . very, very inquisitive. The reason I bring this up is that it is 7:20 and I can barely keep my eyes open. 21 years later and 7 pm feels like my bed time again. I think i just died a little on the inside.

Random Blonde Joke

A blonde was having financial difficulties and decides that she has to take some serious action, so she goes to the park and kidnaps a young boy and writes a ransom note...    'I have kidnapped your son. Leave $10,000 behind the old elm tree and your son will come to no harm...'She pins the note inside the boys jacket and sends him home. The next day sure enough there was $10,000 behind the tree and with it a note saying... I can’t believe one blonde would do this to another'.

Edit: the cartoon's significance is that I was 7 in 1987

A Night with Ellen Page

I had a really great weekend, yesterday I went and saw a couple of films in the Theatre (Eagle Eye with Shai Lebeouf and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist with Michael Cera and Kat Dennings.) Today I bummed around my small town and relaxed as much as possible, I read for close to two hours at Starbucks and had a late lunch at Panda Express, which in retrospect explains my current level of tummy discomfort. I have to be to work at 4AM for the next three weeks, which means there will be a lot of early evenings in my future, tonight i am going to dive into some independent films starring the always delightful Ellen Page of Juno fame that i came across while wandering through the local Hollywood Video.

Random Fact... Halloween is twenty seven evenings away.... And today in my wanders I came across a fully decorated Christmas tree. I hate retail.

The Worst First & LAST. De-Classified

First and foremost I should fill you in on how this terrible date came to be. It really wasn't like something I sought out to do that day. Last wednesday was the inventory as I mentioned and an outsourced company came and counted our entire store. One of the counters was complaining about the halloween area, i was near there and started cracking jokes.  Before I left that day she walked by me and handed me her number chicken scratched on a scrap piece of paper. Honestly who am I to say no to a number, after not having a girlfriend in over a year, never mind having not even gone on a date in that long,  especially when I didn't ask for it..  any way we texted back and forth for the last few days and talked on the phone once. we decided to have dinner on Tuesday night. The following bullets are a basic run down of the evenings downward spiral... I could go into more detail on some points but already my mind is hard at work at blocking this painful and disturbing small event from my minds eye.

Mind you thew following information will probably sound judgmental at times, if you don't like it don't continue to read it.

She was staying at a hotel with her staff of forty five (they travel all over the northwest to conduct inventories on stores similar to mine.) When I got off of work I went home I showered I put on clean clothes and did normal pre-date prep. (oh and there was that whole internet killing time thing i did.)
According to her own confession she didn't feel the need to do more than change her shirt, "It isn't like you saw me in these jeans earlier anyway."
When we went to dinner at Red Robin we both ordered a five alarm burger, She requested a Dr Pepper and I requested an Arnold Palmer (Iced Tea lemonade mix) I took great pains to keep as much of the burger where it belonged as possible, she was not as attentive. I made subtle hints that she had managed to get food all over her face, she did not grasp the subtlety, after directly mentioning said food she said "eh, i'll get it when I'm done more will just end up there anyway." the conversation was more or less pleasant with a few minor exceptions, and then we left the restaurant..
We had about an hour before the movie started (which was bad timing on my part) so we went for a small walk where she burped in more manly a fashion than I will ever be able to replicate and five minutes into our walk she announced she had to fart, and did so, loudly. The announcements of the Flatulence and The burping and the actual occurrences continued on through the evening. At this point i started making small mental notes for the obvious blog post that this date was fated to become.
After our walk we decided to sit on the tailgate of my El Camino and continue our conversation, which at this point was more than awkward. it was at this point when she sat down that her pant leg raised and something caught my eye, i wasn't quite sure what it was so i jokingly pulled her pant leg up a couple of inches at which point she proudly proclaimed that she didn't believe in shaving her legs, and hadn't done so since she was 16 when she  nicked herself rather badly, (mind you she is 23) After moving passed the gag reflex we finally went in and began waiting for the movie to begin,
Now at this point most of you should know that as far as I am concerned we are in a Holy Place, If the usher even pretended to read scripture i would attend services more religiously than your average holy sanctioned pedophiles. (Hmm sorry that joke was in bad taste but i saw an opportunity and had to go for it.) The only thing she did wrong at this point (aside from dumping the popcorn not once not twice but three times) she was loud and disruptive through the entire film.
After the movie i took her back to her hotel and pulled to the front entrance and did not even put the car into park while waiting for her to disembark my vehicle, "Aren't you going to ask for a good night kiss?" she asked.  I replied with what can only be described as forced politeness "I didn't want to be rude." and as she moved in for a kiss I ever so slightly moved my head a quarter of an inch so that it was a peck as opposed to an actual kiss.
I then drove home and crawled into bed as fast as i was able.
The best part of this is that after this whole ordeal i received a text yesterday thanking me for such a wonderful evening and hoping we could do it again sometime. I have to ask were we on the same date?

Random detail I should have mentioned. : The Film in question was Nights in Rodanthe, based on a book by the same author who wrote the Notebook and A Walk to Remember. His name is Nicholas Sparks.

The Worst First.

Last night was absolutely the worst date I have ever been on. There were mortal first date sins  committed, Obnoxious burping,  Flatulence and excessive body hair, bad  hygiene and terrible dinner etiquette and not one of them committed by me. I want to tell you more but i am exhausted.. I will give full details of the worst first date tomorrow.

Random fact, I worked 14 and a half hours straight and I am more bothered by a 4 hour date.

The cartoon's text reads "Your body language would suggest you're not having the best time on our first date."
