Holy Awkward Moments

So yeah... I'm getting ready to leave for a date. I hate first dates they are always awkward and i end up doing stupid things to make the girl laugh, sigh oh well as long as I don't end up naked on an unknown street corner somewhere (long story)  it wont be the worst date i have ever had...

I'm supposed to find her place.... for those of you unaware... I have no sense of direction... this is going to be interesting... oh and as a special bonus i have to be at work at 4 am... sigh...

Thankfully I do not take my job seriously. If I didn't the comments i am subjected to on a regular basis would more than likely drive me mad.  I have another early day filled with annoyance ahead of me tomorrow so I will keep this brief, one day I will know all the answers... 

Random Rip off... So I assume many of you know what a Nintendo Wii is, and on that same assumption, what an X-Box 360 is. Today I received an email from the makers of the 360 telling me they were updating and redesigning their online side of the console (arguably already the best of online set ups at the moment)  and then one of the attached images of the new design showed the new avatar system which looked remarkably similar to if not a glossier version of Nintendo's Mii characters... I assume there will be much whimpering in the near future... and Hence I laugh and others will cry.

Writes with a Keyboard

Instead of catching up on some much needed sleep this evening i have been watching Dances with Wolves... such a great movie... It has been a long time since I last watched it. I was challenged by my sister in-law to watch some of the un-opened movies I have instead of always buying new ones, it has been a long while since i have had the money to purchase a movie, much to my chagrin but at least I am able to enjoy some old classics... Obviously at this point my indian name would the Title. 

Random self promise of the Day, I have decided that each day after work I am going to sit for an hour at the local Starbucks and read to decompress from the days stresses, this is also provides many opportunities to people watch... Which i do so enjoy... 

Spore Free Time

     So I literally didn't do much today, I woke up, made a bowl of cereal, played spore. a couple of hours later, i made a quesadilla and played Spore, after that I made dinner and then I played Spore... tomorrow I am going to work. Sigh... no Spore in that future...

Wake me when September Ends

I got off of work a little after 1PM, I came home I puttered and milled around a little and then I slept until 9 pm... I have the next two days off after which all of the stupidity will begin anew ..

Random Fact... I texted the previously mentioned girl that gave me her number, nothing has come of it. Everything is as it should be. 

Melting Minutes

Is it only me or does it seem that the time we have to ourselves melts a way with each passing day? I went to work this morning at 6 30 am... I left work at 5 30 PM.... I am returning to work at 3 30... grrr at life... hmmm I might sneak one episode of Doctor Who in before i call it a night...

So an interesting thing happened to me while i was at work today, One of the outsourced Inventory personnel (who was blatantly interested) randomly handed me her phone number... that hasn't happened in a while... made feel all warm and cuddly like.

Inventory @ Wally World

Inventory  at Wal~Mart is similar to drinking an entire bottle of colon blow and then getting stuck in an elevator. You know it's coming, you know it isn't going to go well and you are aware there is nothing you can do but hold on and hope for the best. Today started at 545 am (I woke up late.) it is 12:15 I am home from work for the second time today and I have to be back in the store at 7 am. Le sigh

I am going to post this @ 11:59 i'll let you in on a secret if a post says it was posted at 11:59 I have altered it. it's my neurotic way of knowing what i did when I randomly peruse back through old posts which I am prone to do now and again.

A day in the life

I spent my entire day convinced I was going to go home a couple hours early from work for no reason other than I really didn't want to be there. Tensions are running pretty high at work, I find it mildly amusing as I refuse to let Wal~Mart Stress me out.  

  Once I finally got home from work three hours after i had planned and an hour after I was scheduled to be off I filmed and edited my Monday video, and checked my emails and then eagerly awaited the Heroes Season 3 premier.

For some unknown reason one of my roommate decided to throw a conniption fit twenty minutes before the show, reminding me that while i am not only on the constant look out for better employment I am also looking for new residence. 

 The  Heroes two hour premier was pretty epic, interesting twists and new directions for each of the characters and an original take on the save the world plot that was starting to get a little tired and worn out. I will say that the writers have written themselves into a corner with Peter's character, i wonder how they will work that out. 

I'm not sure when i will post tomorrow as I am working a split shift and the day promises to be more aggravating then necessary.

Literally all I did today was hop down to the ridiculously cold Safeway to nab some much needed consumables, Watch Doctor Who, and Play Spore... A tad ridiculous really... 

The Photo to the right is what i wore for Halloween last year, i have lost about 20 pounds since that photo... apparently out of my cheeks...
