Putting the Fun into Funeral

Yeah, the title is insensitive, on the off chance you are unaware this is James' blog. If you are sensitive leave. Today I went to a funeral for a co-worker it was cold and rainy and exactly the type of weather that a funeral should accompany. The gentleman who died was a really good guy, he had worked for the company for over 4 years and had made a lot of friends. If you exclude the Drama that preceded the day prior to the funeral. (upper echelons of management less than enthusiastic about the vast majority of their employees all requesting time off.) It was a military service(which obviously struck a chord with me.)  And as far as outdoor services go, it was well done.  After the service we headed to the reception to offer our condolences and to take part in the exchange of memories and food. Not my average friday, but not the worst way to spend one.

Random Fact: I was told over and over again that I have a similar sense of humor to our former co-worker if that is so, he would have been amused by the cartoon.
